HIPS is a high impact polystyrene extruded sheet. This material is suitable for vacuum forming and printing, therefore it is most commonly used to make advertising signs, displays, labels and illuminated advertising. The sheets come in a matt and glossy finish. Partial HIPS can be used to replace acrylic.
