The technology of permanent binding together of components and parts made of thermoplastic artificial materials (plastics). The most common used for welding is Novodur (polyvinyl chloride - PVC), used in sewage pipes and joined by bonding. Then there is polyethylene (PE-HD) or polypropylene (PP). The basic parameters for welding are temperature, pressure and time. There are various methods of welding. Welding using a (direct/indirect) heating element, hot gas, friction, laser or ultrasonic welding.
